We have been silent for far too long: overwhelmed by the sheer horror of the way the world has been moving. Trump in the USA who does not seem to know anything about truth, decency, morality, equality, kindness, thoughtfulness ... Brazil who seem to have elected a look-alike.
And our own government flailing around like demented cats, unable to listen to any contrary opinions and ploughing on, dropping ministers on a weekly basis, as though they had a divine right to dictate. We have lost count of the number of times we have been told 'I am perfectly clear' and 'not in the national interest'. Both lies.
None of them ruling 'by the people, for the people'.
It is time to call them out when we can.
